Cupcake treats
Posted on December 11th, 2007 in Cake Lounge, Seasonal

My favorite cupcake combo at the moment is chocolate cupcakes with loads of marshmallow frosting on top. So here are some of my latest cupcake treats. First, cupcakes decorated with candy canes and home colored sprinkles

Next we have “Hi-Hats” or should we call them “Low-Hats”
I think that the red sparkle gives them a nice Christmas touch. Loads of chocolate and loads of marshmallow frosting can it get any better?
Happy Caking!
Louise

You know crushed pieces of peppermint on top of white icing would be stunning. If the cupcake was minty tasting… ooo-la-la!

I was thinking of using crushed peppermint. But this was a short cut;-) The red sparkle is from Edable Art, they have some great sparkles.
Thanks:-)

How did you get the red sparkles in the frosting?
Like, did you airbrush it on, or?

I added the red sparkle when the chocolate was still wet. It’s not airbrush.

where did you get the red sparkles?
I’m used to the edible ‘flake’ style sparkles which aren’t as lovely, shimmery and delicate as the sparkles that look just like arts n crafts-style sparkles.
PLEASE tell me where you got them!
