Christmas brownie bites
Posted on December 22nd, 2009 in Cake Lounge, Seasonal
I made these small Christmas brownie bites today. Normally, I would use a nice chocolate fudge frosting on top of my brownie bites. But today I used powdered sugar “snow” instead. I made the red berries out of red fondant, brushed with Tylo glue and then dipped in red disco sparkle from Edable Art (UK company).
The Holly leaves is made with the Holly plunger from PME, also using fondant. I did not use gum paste this time. For the brownies, have I used this brownie recipe that I really like. I am happy that they just match my little homemade gift box, as I am going to use the Christmas brownie bites as a little gift for tomorrow.
Happy Caking!

I love this brownie ideal. What size cutter did you use and did you make a double batch to get them so tall? I would love to make them for other holidays also, I think it would be great fun.

Nancy: I used a 1 1/2″ circle cutter. I did not double the recipe but baked it in a 8″ square pan. The brownie recipe from Joy of baking is my favorite.
