Cakes for a summer party

This friday I made two cakes for a summer party at my childrens kindergarden. I decided to make one for the boys and one for the girls. Do I need to say that all the kids was excited when they saw the cakes?
I have used royal icing and rolled fondant/sugar paste for the decorations.

Happy Caking

Last thursday was also the summerparty at my daughter’s kindergarden, but I did not have such great idea….
The kids would have gone crazy and besides that it could have been a good opportunity for the parents to see the cakes and maybe order for their kids’ b’day parties….
Well, next time ! Thanks for the idea !
By the way, did you use any kind of fillings for the cakes ? Which one ?
